Kaleo MINISTRY!

HAPPY DECEMBER 1st!
CAN YOU BELIEVE ITS LIKE ALMOST 2009?! TIME FLIES SO FAST PEOPLE! SERIOUSLY! this is CRAZY! what is this!....man we should be more thankful for every moment we have on this earth...it passes so fast...we have to enjoy what little time we got...i know i can't believe 1st semester is almost done. GUYS EVERYTHING GOES SO FAST! thankyou God for letting me experience such a short lived awesome year!

I hope you all are doing well! This week we had our last week of classes for this semester. We were studying Foundations of Church Ministry with David Lee. He actually knows my Uncle...and we got to talking about my family and where they are at right now- obviously telling him about the Fire that affected them.

The class was really interesting, and I got to talk to him and ask some thought provoking questions that got the class discussing their views against mine or for mine. It was pretty interesting to gain knowledge and perspective from student and teacher. I do love talking and bringing up points in class, so this was very beneficial to my learning about church ministry.

I am so thankful for this class, as I learned much about a hurting church, a thriving church, what the church is and should be, why the church is God's plan, arrogance in a church, a church following after Gods heart and one that is not, and learned much about different perspectives from men who wrote articles that we had to read to support our church ministry essays.

On top of class this is what I have been up to this week:
Monday- hiked to the point (a place close to the water a little distance from camp-saw some shooting stars yet again), drew some woodshop designs:), skype bible devotional on Ecclesiastes 12 with my brother:)
Tuesday- laundry, hw and chilling with ppl!
Wednesday- crepes for breakfast, played piano and drums, played uno.
Thursday- festival of lights with Kaleo at Ladysmith (so floats light up and fireworks) gave a guy and a girl a shoulder back ride MAN AM I BUFF:) lol psh so not :), chilled at timmyhos with miranda and phil.
Friday- Finished a paper with Miranda all night:), youth game night kids were pretty hyper LOL, mens retreat started for the weekend, found crabs down by the beach, huge fog, got a stocking from Mrs. Lee's (teachers wife) so cute she knitted it and its filled with food and stuff i was so touched:)
Saturday- people went to victoria but i stayed and got work done, cleaned, and chilled with ppl here. went on the skyscraper with phil and kylie...it was so intense i was the only one who was scared LOL go me GO! i screamed like no other. its this massive swing that fits 3 ppl and has a bit of a drop befor you swing all the way to the other side....INTENSE!, danced on the beach because the phosperecence were coming through the SAND thus my FEET WERE GLOWING..man it was crazy! worked out and malayne and miranda came and scared me pretty bad....then walking back to camp phil scared us 3 on the trail.
Sunday- read scripture for the advant candles with ben for church, made a sweet t-shirt for sunday school, got invited out for lunch, went to coffee on the moon so good, got secret santa gift from walmart!, saw all the guys shaving their beards and facial hair and making themselves have the weirdest cuts at like 12:00 am on monday!
